What is the endowment fund?

An endowment is a financial gift given to the school to be invested. The interest earned creates long-term stability and success for the school. Donors may also want to donate to a named fund to be used for a specific purpose only. Some of these specialized funds can be used to support both grants and particular programs such as: Tuition assistance, Teacher salaries, School maintenance or in support of many other programs.
Increased financial assistance provided through an endowment fund allows Vineyard to grow and opens the school to many students.
